We were commissioned by the British Army’s Futures Directorate to produce a series of animated films for an internal educational conference. The aim was to communicate how digital networks, data infrastructure, and information systems play a critical role in the future of defence.
What We Did
Through cinematic visualisations and animated sequences, we translated complex military and technical concepts into clear, impactful visuals. Our work included:
– Building stylised, data-driven environments and global network representations
– Animating strategic scenarios that highlighted communication infrastructure and digital coordination
– Designing assets such as terrain maps, city layouts, and military equipment in a cohesive visual language
The animations were designed for high-level briefings and strategic presentations, serving as tools to engage, educate, and provoke discussion about the role of connectivity in future operations.
Impact
The films were showcased at an internal Army Futures Directorate conference and used to support discussion around innovation, digital transformation, and operational readiness. They helped military stakeholders visualise and understand the invisible but essential digital infrastructure shaping tomorrow’s defence landscape.
