In alliance with the spirit of the Commonwealth Games, we embarked on the grand “Route 34: Embracing Cultures” project, an ode to the 11 Caribbean nations that graced Birmingham22.
Entrusted with the task of digitizing breathtaking costumes conceived by Clary Salandy of Mahogany Arts, we were on a quest to transform these wearable art pieces into a fully-immersive augmented reality (AR) experience.
By deploying cutting-edge modeling techniques and meticulous texturing practices, we ensured that each costume remained true to its original artistic grandeur. The end result? We birthed an awe-inspiring augmented reality experience that invited users to virtually wear each masterpiece.
The Route 34 digital experience serves as a compelling narrative medium that not only encapsulates the richness of Caribbean culture but also celebrates the unity and diversity witnessed at Birmingham22.
Dive into the Route 34 experience and virtually wear a piece of Caribbean heritage. It’s not just fashion; it’s a celebration of culture, community, and connectivity.
