Just Like Me Books are the UK’s first inclusive and interactive picture books that use augmented reality to transform reading into an immersive experience. Founded by parents Pamela Aculey and Alex Kosminsky and illustrated by Ray Walsh, the series champions diversity and representation, ensuring children of all backgrounds and abilities see themselves reflected in the stories they read.
We created the companion AR app that brings each book to life through interactive animations, soundscapes, and voice prompts. Designed with inclusivity at its core, the experience offers an engaging and supportive learning environment, especially suited for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and additional needs.
