Our Immersive Arts Bootcamp is designed for creative practitioners to develop their existing digital skills to enhance their career pathway within the creative digital industries. The focus of study is in developing 3D skills in Blender and Unreal Engine 5, enabling participants to create their own VR, AR and other extended reality projects. Through this programme participants professional portfolios will be improved and developed to gain future work opportunities.
This course is free. Places are limited, and priority will be given to applicants who are unemployed or under-employed, from a Government Priority Place within the West Midlands, neurodivergent or have another disability.
We will be delivering 60 hours of guided training and provide follow-up career support through our Immersive Industry Events, once a month for 6 months after the course ends. Over the 12 weeks, we will be focusing on the following skills.

There will be a week of self-directed research and learning on week beginning 5th February
Throughout bootcamp and for monthly professional support for the next 6 months, our Immersive Industry Events with representatives from creative digital organisations, will be on hand to share their experience and advise participants on how to move their careers into the immersive arts sector. This additional provision aims to assist you to either gain employment or boost your career in this exciting new industry.
